2)[Reason (Part 2)]

Reason (Part 2)

I have already written that rational activity may create new emotions. We cannot grow into adulthood with the innocent mind that we were born with. As we grow up, we receive stimuli from the outside world, and as we gain experience, we develop our rationality. Reason becomes one of the important elements that form the core of a person, and this is how “personality” is formed. Reason also produces feelings that one could not have had in one’s innocence, and one can say, “I feel like this when I do this! Uncovering the reality of who you really are. And finally, the foolish self is encountered. Whether or not you can meet it may be only a small difference.

It is painful to admit one’s foolishness. It means defeat. There are probably few people who would willingly admit defeat. I am not sure if I am admitting defeat in the true sense of the word. But if I could see it not as a defeat but as the truth, I think my view of life would change completely. If I could not only lament that I am a foolish person, but also open myself up to the fact that human beings are weak to begin with, I would be able to ask for someone’s help. We would realize that it is okay to ask for help.
There are those who are unaware of their “foolishness” and miss the opportunity to get closer to what I call “the truth. I believe that there are probably more people who live their lives according to their emotions generated by reason. If someone has lived a happy life by following this path, I have nothing more to say, and I would like to congratulate him or her wholeheartedly. However, I believe it is also true that not all people go through life so well.

I have already written about the fact that I believe that the reason I think I have cultivated is also a gift from God. From now on, I will talk about my premonition. I think that I will be moving on to the process of letting go of the “reason” that I have cultivated. Would it be easier to convey my feelings if I say that I am returning to my soul or returning to the feelings of a baby? However, the soul has already undergone a great deal of change from its innate state. It cannot remain a child forever. Therefore, although the exact expression “return” may be a little off, I have a feeling that we will start to steer our lives in the direction of living according to the honest “heart” that has been nurtured while abandoning reason.

Basically, when I put “consider” at the end of a sentence, it is when I have “reason” in mind, and “think” is when my soul or heart is the subject. In this connection, two words that suddenly came to mind were “belief” and “faith. I have always insisted, “Nowadays, the only way to find a way to move toward ‘faith’ is to master ‘belief. The idea that “belief” means work done by “reason” and “faith” is something sought by the “soul” has just fallen into my heart.
I don’t want to stop considering, and I don’t consider I should. But on the other hand, I also feel that if I keep considering with reason and praying to God and Jesus, I will never be able to receive faith. Reason cannot control what the soul desires.

It is tough to admit to myself that I am foolish.
