よって現時点ではクラブチームでの活躍のみでの評価になる。クラブチームの成績にザっと目を通すと、イングランドの「マンチェスター・シティ」、「リヴァプール」、スペインの「レアル・マドリ―」のこの3チームの成績が突出しているように見える。この3チームに所属している選手からバロンドールウィナーが誕生すると見て、まず間違いないだろう。
「マンチェスター・シティ」での私の一推しは、ケビン・デブライネ（ベルギー）選手。中盤のポジションで今一番エキサイティングな選手ではないか。あの位置で15得点は相当凄い。闘志に溢れたオールラウンダーという感じで、観ていると自然と応援したくなる。私の好きなタイプの選手なのかもしれない。W杯でのベルギーにも期待したい。
「リヴァプール」では、やはりモハメド・サラー（エジプト）選手。どこを抜いたのか分からないようなマジカルなシュート＆ゴールは異次元の技術だ。月末のCL決勝での勝敗が影響してくるだろう。エジプトがW杯に不出場なだけに、サラーにとってこの決勝は、獲っておかなければならないノルマかもしれない。プレミアで22得点13アシストは傑出した数字だ。CLでの8得点も効いている。
「レアル・マドリー」では、カリム・ベンゼマ（フランス）選手。これまでの選手生活で最高の時期を今過ごしている。絶好調だ。彼がフランス代表に選ばれれば、フランスの成績はW杯で期待できるので、もし連覇するようなことがあれば最有力候補になるだろう。レアルでのリーグ戦27得点、CLでの15得点は立派。土壇場での奇跡的なゴールも印象的だ。チームとして、CLとW杯のダブルタイトルがかかる。
ダークホースとして私が推したいのは、「リヴァプール」のDFファン・ダイク（オランダ）選手。チームメイトのサラー選手の数字を見てしまうと、「ないな」と思ってしまうが、CLを獲ったとして、さらに万が一オランダがW杯で決勝に残るようなことがあれば、可能性はゼロではない。戦う姿勢やディフェンスにおける統率力はもちろん、彼は1対1の局面で無類の強さを見せる。強くて大きくて素早いDFは、少なくとも有力候補までには名前が上がるべきだと思う。
まとめると、私の予想は1位ベンゼマ、2位サラー、3位デブライネ、にさせてもらうことにする。さて、どこまで当たるだろうか。

The win or loss in the CL final at the end of March will have an impact on him. Since Egypt will not participate in the World Cup, this final may be a must-win for Salah. His 22 goals and 13 assists in the Premier League are outstanding, and his eight goals in the CL will also help.
For Real Madrid, Karim Benzema (FRA). He is having the best time of his career so far. He is in great form.
