[Head and Body]

Head and Body

Let’s say you have a big event. Regardless of whether it is for work or private life, it is a so-called “serious” event that requires a great deal of effort to carry out. For example, a student’s “regular test” or “athletic meet”. A wedding reception for a couple about to get married. The same thing can be said of business events when there is an irregular, large task. When you are preparing for such an event, you need to make the appropriate preparations. The larger the scale of the event, the more work there will be to prepare.

Even though the date of the event is set and you know you have to prepare for it, sometimes your body just won’t move. In my head, I have all sorts of arrangements to do this and that, and when that is done, then do the next thing at …….” Even though I have these plans in my head, I have never been able to follow them to the letter. I really think that I am a “bum” person. I am not able to faithfully carry out what I have decided to do. If it were just me, it would be fine, but I don’t want the people around me to be inconvenienced because of my laziness.
However, even though I am such a bad person, I have always been able to balance the books as a result. Despite all the fuss and bother, I was able to get myself through many difficult situations. If I were to try to put into words something that is difficult to explain, it would be something like, “My body does not move as I have planned in my head, but my body knows how to move, or at least the point where it should move. Can this be understood? It sounds as if I am not talking about my body, but it is as if my body naturally responds to a pinch in a distant place where my will power cannot reach. So, unlike “believing in myself,” I feel a sense of “resignation” that “things will never go as I wish” has become ingrained in my mind.

On the other hand, when I look back and think about it, I realize that I have rarely had good results when I have forcefully moved my body according to what I thought in my head. It is more like, “The world is not as sweet as I want it to be. In my case, I have tried to “think smart” (act as if I am smart), and tried to think and make various plans in my head, but it may be a futile effort. I believe that “nothing is wasted in the world,” but I also feel that God has been gently reaching out to me because of my poor judgment. That is how much the world does not revolve around me. No, that’s just a matter of course. ……

I read a book by Nakamura Tenpu titled “I Give You Success. It is a very encouraging story and I will be greatly influenced by it. I don’t think this is the right thing to say at my age, but I will try to live for a while with only a positive mindset and not think too much. Age has nothing to do with it,” Tenpou said. I hope to compare the contents of this book with what I have cultivated and verify them, and to cultivate new experiences of my own. Anyway, I think that is what it means to study no matter how old you are. The training continues.

It’s also strange that I came across this book at this time~!
