スポーツの世界ではイメージトレーニングというものがあるらしい。頭の中で自分が試合に出場しているシーンをイメージし、何度も何度もシミュレーションを繰り返してみるのだそうだ。そうすることで本当に本番を迎えた時にも落ち着いてプレーできるとか。頭の中のイメージと現実の世界を結びつけるような感覚だろうか。緊張や不安を払しょくするためにも効果的なトレーニング方法だというもっぱらの評判だ。
　現実がもし自分がイメージした通りに展開したとしたら、どんな気持ちになれるんだろう。不思議？驚き？それとも当然の結果と受け止められるものなのだろうか。いずれにしても想定してみない事には、成功にたどり着くのは難しいのかもしれない。何かに挑戦しようと思えば、「ビジョン」が必要とも言い換えられるだろうか。

　私は妄想家で、あること無いこと色々考えるのが好きなタイプだ。放っておけば一日中妄想にふけっていることもある。何の脈絡や根拠もなく、ただ単に「こうなったらいいな～」等と夢を見ている感じだろうか。だからそこに細かい計算や計画はない。望みを空中に次々と浮かべて楽しんでいるだけ。私の勝手な気持ちの変化によって、その“望み”はコロコロと様相を変えてみたりする。政治家には絶対になれないタイプだと思う。

　「良い国」ってどんな国だろうかと妄想してみた。もちろん“私が考える”良い国についてだ。子供が生まれたら、その子が20歳になるまで親に毎月10万円支給されるというのはどうだろう。3人なら30万。5人生まれて頑張って育てれば、それだけで月収50万円になる。年収600万円。どうだろう、少子化問題をこれで解決できないだろうか。
　教育費は幼稚園から専門学校、大学まで無償。もちろん高校以降は強制ではない。土木だろうが畜産だろうが音楽だろうがスポーツだろうが、好きな分野を経済的な障壁なく、好きなだけ学べる。相乗効果は計り知れない。それに他人の家の子の成長にも自分が払った税金が使われていると思ったら、また違う絆が生まれたりしないだろうか。国単位の一体感は生まれないだろうか。成長して他の国の実情を知れば、子供たちは大人たちに対して感謝の気持ちを抱かないだろうか。そう考えたら、私は心の底からワクワクする。そんな国、私はめちゃくちゃ素敵だと思う。

　こういうことを言うと必ず、「そのお金はどこから出てくるの？」という詰問が噴き出してくる。確かに私は細かい計算をして妄想しているわけではない。しかし私のもう一つの大きなビジョンは、このブログで以前から書いているのだが、「世界中のあらゆる兵器の廃絶と軍隊の解散」だ。（余談だがこれに付随して各国における警察機能の強化も必要だと考えている）
　日本が世界に先駆けて、兵器を廃棄し自衛隊を解散すればいい。「もう二度と戦争はしない」と、世界へ向けてまさに身をもって示すべきだと、私は本気で思っている。何とかの「傘」の下に隠れていないで、平和を目指す先頭に立って世界をリードしてほしい。そう考えたら、私は心の底からワクワクする。そんな国、私はめちゃくちゃ素敵だと思う。

My beautiful country

　In the world of sports, there is something called image training. They imagine themselves in a game in their mind and repeat the simulation over and over again. By doing so, he says, he is able to play calmly when the real game is about to begin. It is like connecting the images in your mind with the real world. It is a popular and effective training method for eliminating nervousness and anxiety.
　I wonder how it would feel if reality were to unfold exactly as I had imagined it. Wonder? Surprised? Or would you be able to accept it as a natural outcome? In any case, it may be difficult to reach success without trying to envision it. If we want to challenge something, we need to have a “vision”.

　I am a delusional person who likes to think about things that are or are not true. If left alone, I can spend all day long in my imagination. I guess I just dream about what I would like to happen, without any context or rationale. Therefore, there are no detailed calculations or plans. I just enjoy floating my hopes one after another in the air. My “hopes” change their aspect from time to time depending on the change of my selfish feelings. I don’t think I could ever be a politician.

　I have been trying to imagine what kind of country a “good country” would be. Of course, I am talking about “what I consider” a good country. How about a monthly allowance of 100,000 yen for every child born until the child reaches the age of 20, 300,000 yen for three children, and If you have five lives and work hard to raise them, that would be a monthly income of 500,000 yen. Six million yen per year. What do you think? Couldn’t this solve the problem of declining birthrate?
　Education is free from kindergarten to vocational school and university. Of course, it would not be compulsory after high school. Whether it is civil engineering, animal husbandry, music, or sports, students can learn as much as they want in their favorite fields without any financial barriers. The synergistic effect is immeasurable. And if one feels that one’s tax money is being used to help the children of other families grow up, won’t that create a different kind of bond? Wouldn’t it create a sense of national unity? As children grow up and learn about the realities of other countries, won’t they develop a sense of gratitude toward adults? I am excited from the bottom of my heart when I think about it. I think such a country would be beautiful.

　Whenever I say something like this, the question “Where does the money come from? I am certainly not delusional about detailed calculations. I am certainly not deluding myself with detailed calculations. But my other big vision, which I have been writing about on this blog for a long time, is the “abolition of all weapons in the world and the disbanding of all armies. (As a side note, I also believe that the police function in each country needs to be strengthened in conjunction with this.)
　Japan should be the first country in the world to abolish weapons and disband its Self-Defense Forces. I seriously believe that Japan should demonstrate to the world that it will never fight another war. I hope that Japan will not hide under some “umbrella” but lead the world in pursuit of peace. When I think of that, I get excited from the bottom of my heart. I think such a country would be so beautiful.
