1)[The Need to Be Me (Part 1)]

The Need to Be Me (Part 1)

When you work as a member of an organization, you are limited in what you can do that is uniquely you. If you don’t do things according to the way things are done there, you will not be recognized no matter how hard you work. In the worst case scenario, you could be fired. I believe that adhering to the rules set by the organization will lead to the protection of each individual worker, which in turn will contribute to the benefit and preservation of the organization as a whole. If you are trying to run one thing with a large group of people, it is inevitable that there will be rules and bindings.

I am a very selfish person, and if things don’t go my way, I immediately bend the navel. I feel very constrained in an environment where I cannot move freely. Maybe that is why I have never stayed in one company for more than three years. I am always free to quit.
Now that I am formally independent and own my own company with only one employee, there is no such thing as “quitting my own company. Of course, bankruptcy is possible. So, if I don’t like it, I can just cut off my ties with my business partner, but the truth is that it doesn’t work that way. Rather, it is also true that there are many aspects of the contractual relationship with customers now that are more unfettered than when I was working as an employee. It’s a difficult decision to make, but all in all, I’m glad that I became independent.

As my history of moving from one job to another shows, being able to work in my own way is a very important factor for me. In most cases, the direction I want to go and the goals of the organization are not aligned. The need to make compromises and concessions follows me every step of the way. The work I am able to devote myself to mindlessly may be time-limited until I learn how to do the new job.
It is the organization’s mission to take care of business matters, i.e., the employer’s compensation and working conditions. If the organization fails to distribute wages, it will mean the collapse of society. In order to continue to do this, they force employers to do what they think is best for the organization. However, as a worker, I want to work the way I want to work, even if I have to do away with that. I know this is a bit forward, but I think it’s noble.

I have been doing what I do because I truly want to bring benefit to the organization. There is no lie in that. I just want to contribute in my own way. I am saying that I want that freedom. My way may not be the most efficient way, and maybe it is wrong. But if I don’t do it my way, then it doesn’t have to be me who does the work.
That said, when a tiny being like me causes damage to an organization, the only way I can take responsibility is to quit. In other words, I do not have the power to take responsibility. In such a state of affairs, it may be ludicrous to insist, “Let me be free to do what I want.
I guess I am thinking somewhere that I would like to leave a mark of my life, not as one person among many, but as one person. How many more years can I work?” I may be at that age where I am beginning to hear the countdown, I am feeling a little impatient, maybe I am at that age.
