[Responsibility of the Receiver]

Responsibility of the Receiver

I believe that there is a truth for each of us. If you compare my truth with someone else’s truth, maybe there is a great deal of similarity, or maybe it is of a completely incompatible nature. That’s fine, and I think that’s natural. Maybe that is what the current trend of “embracing diversity” means. So basically, I think it is nonsense to force others to conform to one’s own way of thinking, such as “this is how human beings should behave.
With that in mind, I believe there is a difference between expressing one’s own opinion and forcing others to do so. It is a matter of how the recipient perceives any assertion, and I think that both the transmitter and the recipient need to be independent of each other. In other words, the act of agreeing with someone’s opinion and acting on it, and the act of spreading that opinion further, should be done under the responsibility of the recipient. It is not a good idea to hold others responsible for one’s own actions because “that person said so. In that sense, as long as one acts, the recipient is also responsible for his/her actions.

That said, I reject the notion that the sender can say whatever he or she wants in the name of “freedom of speech. Not only should there be no discrimination or prejudice, but there should also be no harm done to someone’s character. I believe that human beings are emotional creatures. It is because of our emotions that our actions, words, and deeds are born and our connections with others are formed. Emotions may be said to be “the person itself. In the course of normal life, when opinions clash and emotions rise, we may unintentionally attack the other person’s personality with words such as, “You idiot!
However, if we let our emotions get the better of us and confuse the assertion of a different opinion with the denial of one’s personality, it is inevitable that a conflict will result. I think the first thing that is required here is for each of us to be independent and recognize each other’s differences in position and opinion.

I consider myself to be a very emotional person, but I am afraid to say, do, or act as my emotions dictate. I really don’t know what would happen if I did that and I have a feeling that I would lose my life. I might hurt people. I don’t intend to do it, and I don’t think I could. I am a creature of reason and emotion.
Sometimes I may be quite rational, and at other times I may be wild like an animal. Sometimes I may be too timid to leave my room, and at other times I may be brave and bold enough to venture out into the wilderness on my own. I show such a variety of states, but all of them are me, in other words, I am a very unstable seven-changing being. It is difficult for me to control them.

Therefore, it may be a bit of a tall order to force such a childlike, unstable me to be “independent,” “responsible for myself,” “don’t get emotional,” and so on. The “truth for me” is something I am still searching for, so I don’t think I can force anyone to do anything in the first place. However, it may be poor and some people may not feel comfortable with my logic, but it may be my “mission” to convey what I am trying to think in my own way.

I do not always intend to force anything on anyone!
