典型的な例として、会社に入社し他の社員たちと協力し合いながら、優れた自社製品の開発に取り組んだり、その製品をたくさんの人たちに買ってもらうために営業努力をしたりするという、基本的な企業内の構図があると思う。そういった「会社が成長する」という一つの目標に向かって、それぞれの社員が必要な知識や技術を身につけて貢献しようとする。恐らく基本的にはどの会社においても見られる仕組みなのではないだろうか。だから同じ会社に長く所属して研鑽できれば、自然とその業界の専門家としての経験が積まれていく。

　しかし私がやりたいと思っていることは、そういった一つの大きな集合体が果たしている役割を真似るのではなく、その時々で掲げた目標によって変幻自在のチームを組めるような、「ネットワーク」を構築してみたい。企業などのような大きな単位である必要はなく、個人単位でも構わないので、それぞれの“道”の専門家を繋げるネットワーク。そんなことが実現できたらどんなに楽しいだろうか。
　例えば町のレストランや美容室、写真スタジオや花屋さん、学校や自治体等々を絡めて、人々に元気を出してもらえるような、みんなが支え合えるような、何かしらのプロジェクトを行っていきたい。多種多様な技術・知識・経験をもった人たちのチーム。中には職人気質の偏屈な人もいることだろう。人付き合いが苦手で愛想笑い一つにこわばる人もいるだろう。でも同調圧力のようなものが必要ない、それぞれが自立したプロフェッショナルのチームが、私は欲しい。

　そのチームの中で、何でも言い合えるような関係が築けたら、もうそれ以上のことはないだろう。絶対に意図的に相手を傷つけるような言葉を発しない人間の集まり。投げかけられた言葉にもし傷ついてしまうことがあったとしても、言った人が「自分を傷つけるために言ったんじゃない」と信じられる関係。そして自分の仕事を愛して止まない仲間たち。そんなチームの一員になれたら、私はどんなに幸せなことだろう。

　幻想かもしれない。そんな夢みたいなことばかり妄想していても、時間の無駄にしかならないかもしれない。でもそんな素敵な夢なら、たまにはまどろんでみても良いかなと思った。

Dream Team

　A typical example would be the basic composition within a company, where employees join a company and work together with other employees to develop superior in-house products and make sales efforts to get those products purchased by a large number of people. Each employee tries to contribute by acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills toward the single goal of “company growth. This is probably a structure that can be found basically in any company. Therefore, if one can stay with the same company for a long time and study hard, one naturally gains experience as an expert in that industry.

　What I would like to do, however, is not to imitate the role played by such a large group, but to build a “network” that allows us to form teams that can change according to the goals we set at any given time. It does not have to be a large unit such as a company, or even an individual, but a network that connects experts in each “path”. How fun it would be to realize such a network!
　For example, we would like to conduct some kind of project involving local restaurants, beauty salons, photo studios, florists, schools, local governments, etc., so that people can be energized and support each other. A team of people with diverse skills, knowledge, and experience. Some of them will probably be eccentric people with a craftsman’s temperament. There may be people who are not good at socializing, and who may be intimidated by a single friendly smile. But I would like to have a team of professionals who are independent and do not need any kind of peer pressure.

　If we could build a relationship within that team where we could say anything to each other, there would be nothing more to do. A group of people who would never intentionally say a word that would hurt the other person. A relationship where, if you are ever hurt by a word thrown at you, you can trust that the person who said it did not say it to hurt you. And a group of people who love what they do. How happy I would be if I could be a member of such a team.

　It may be a fantasy. It may be just a waste of time to fantasize about such a dream. But if it is such a wonderful dream, I thought it would be okay to doze off once in a while.
